EFF distances itself from controversial comments

THE EFF in uThungulu has distanced itself from statements made by former Regional Chairperson Bheki Shabane, regarding party chair Julius Malema and His Majesty King Goodwill Zwelithini KaBhekuzulu.

In an article in the ZO on 13 April, Shabane accused Malema of showing disrespect to the Zulu Monarch when he said that ‘he feared nobody – not even the king’ during an eNCA interview.

He immediately called on Malema to apologise to King Zwelithini for insulting him, warning the party leader ‘not to set foot in this province’ before he did so.
