KZN Acting Provincial Commissioner, Major General Bheki Langa encouraged community members to continue providing SAPS with information to root out crime in their areas.

‘Our detective members and Crime Intelligence unit will work around the clock to check if these suspects are wanted for other crimes in the province.

‘I also encourage the community to always work together with the police in the fight against crime by providing valuable information about criminal activities in their areas.

‘Let us not hide criminals but let’s expose them to the police.

‘The recovered firearms will be sent for ballistic tests to establish if they were used in any other crimes,’ he said.
