TWO Richards Bay High School (RBHS) hockey players are seeking funding or sponsorship for an overseas tour they were selected for.

Kyle Maartens and Melvin Luthuli played in a recent inter-schools hockey tournament in Bethlehem, where Maartens was named the est midfield player of the tournament and Luthuli the best player of the tournament.

Melvin Luthuli was named the best player at the same tournament

Travel and Sport, in collaboration with Elsie Coetzer Hockey School (ECHS), chose players during this tournament, as well as other similar tournaments in Bloemfontein, to form a team across all age categories that will be going on tour to Belgium and the Netherlands in October.

The cost per player is R40 000.
