Ethan Cooper is the SuperSport ‘Let’s Play’ Sports Star of the Month.

Ethan Cooper

THE multi-talented 10-year-old Veldenvlei Primary School pupil literally has many balls in the air.

He recently returned from Port Elizabeth after a successful indoor cricket tour, representing KZN North at the South African Indoor Cricket Tournament, and has also been selected for the SA Diamonds indoor cricket side.

But he doesn’t just excel indoors.

Ethan also actively participates in cricket, rugby, swimming, athletics and motor racing.

His rèsumè includes making the U12A schools rugby side (flyhalf), the U12A cricketer award winner (all rounder), a Junior Victor Ludorum trophy for swimming (both in 2016 and 2017), a spot on the KICKSA uThungulu athletics team (2016), making waves in the quarter midget class on the hotrod track (2017) and selection into the KZN North and SA Diamonds indoor cricket sides (2017).

But it’s not all work for this young man.

When not focusing on maintaining high marks in the classroom or travelling from one sport practice session to another, Ethan likes to spend his downtime chilling in front of the television, jamming his adrenaline-packed X-Box games.

So what are his goals for the rest of the year?

This adventurous and spontaneous youngster aims at winning his class in the hotrods, and being selected for both the uThungulu rugby and cricket sides.
