New community centre for Ulundi

ULUNDI will soon boast a community conference centre focused on promoting healthy lifestyles and youth activities.

Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi turned the sod of the new facility on 24 March, a joint project between the Ulundi Municipality and Divine Life Society.

The centre will be more than just a conference centre as it will provide recreational faciilities for the youth where they will be able to participate in a host of activities.

In his address, Prince Buthelezi said, ‘I hope that it will become a centre of education, information, culture and unity, a place where people grow, develop and where this community is strengthened.’

He expressed his satisfaction that the centre will also be used to showcase the crafts and handiwork of the community.
