THE beautiful track laid out by Julian Simon for the fourth race in the Bell Big 5 MTB Series, saw 83 male and 20 female 50km finishers, while in the 25km race 118 males and 54 females finished.

Compared to last year’s searing heat, participants in the Hluhluwe Rhino Charge on Sunday could enjoy the race as it wound through the False Bay Section of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

Nico Grobbelaar gives the race a thumbs-up

All the top riders gained valuable points before the final race, the Monzi on Sunday, 1 October.
