GRANTLEIGH School’s U13A girls hockey side had a fantastic day at the office on Friday afternoon, claiming the 5th annual Tiger Wheel & Tyre Junior Open Girls hockey title at Felixton College.

Grantleigh topped of the table with 13 points, two ahead of second placed Heuwelland Primary School (11 points), after producing some sensational hockey.

Seven local primary schools followed a round robin format over 15-minute one-way games.

The other five participating schools were Mtunzini Primary, Felixton College, St Catherine’s, Richards Bay Christian School and Holy Childhood.
