THE fight at top of the log between defending champions Impis and Hullets carried on in the Empangeni Social Darts League, with both teams picking up a 9-1 bonus point victory.

With only two rounds to go and one point separating the two sides, both will aim for bonus point victories with the hope of the other slipping up.

Hullets is currently on top with 30 points after their 9-1 victory over Empangeni Rugby Club at home on Wednesday evening.

Impis also claimed a comprehensive 9-1 bonus point win over Umoya at the Empangeni Moth Hall which increased their tally to 29.

Both sides have won 11 out of 12 games, with the only loss coming against each other.

Both have qualified for the semi-finals on Wednesday 3 May, but want to finish on top for bragging rights.

In the game played between Aces and Undertakers at Umoya Lounge, Undertakers dominated and claimed a bonus point 9-1 victory.

Rhinos did not even throw one dart to claim a 10-0 walkover victory, when Fernandos failed to rock up to the Empangeni Rugby Club.

The top four spots of the league have been cemented, with Hullets, Impis, Undertakers and Empangeni Rugby Club already in the semi-finals.

Finals is set for Wednesday 10 May with the venue to be announced.
