Two children critical after KwaMbo crash

On  Wednesday afternoon two little boys aged four and six sustained life-threatening injuries, when a three-ton truck carrying passengers veered off the road and overturned at KwaMbonambi.

Two adults were also left in a serious condition, while two others escaped with minor injuries.

Chris Botha of Netcare 911 said his paramedics responded to a call for help at around 3.45pm.

‘The exact cause of the crash is unknown, but police are investigating.

‘My team worked fervently at the scene to stabalize the seriously injured before moving them to hospital,’ he said.
