PARENTS and teachers were thoroughly entertained on Friday morning when St Catherine’s School pupils participated in the annual Grade R-3 Fun gala.

The event was comprised of one 25m length freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly for grade three, with grades one and two completing the same strokes over one width of the pool.

Grade R completed one width of freestyle, doggy paddle and a kicker board race.

The day’s festivities ended off with grade one and two completing the wiggly worm race and grade three the dolphin dive race.

The event was focused on fun and allowed the youngsters to show off their swimming skills to their parents.
