Swimmers stroke up the heat

Grantleigh's Sharon Crous competed in the girls 4x25m individual medley

GRANTLEIGH left the competition in their wake at the Inter-High gala hosted by Richards Bay Christian School at the Arboretum Swimming pool on Thursday afternoon, winning the event overall with a tally of 166 points.

Grantleigh School’s Jordan Stevens won the boys open 4x25m individual medley race

They were closely followed by second placed Richards Bay High School who accumulated 155 points and then the hosts in third on 92 points.

Grantleigh’s Lauren Saint finishing strong in the girls 50m freestyle race

Teenagers aged U14 to U18 competed at the short course (25m pool) event in the following events: 4x25m individual medley, 50m butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle and 6x50m freestyle squadron relay.
